Random rant! #Instagram related
I love Instagram, that is a fact. Its one of my favorite apps and I use it on a daily basis. I love taking pictures and sharing them with the world. I also love looking at the pictures other instagrammers post. I have a couple of favorite accounts(will post a list at the end of blog) and I love seeing the world through other people's eyes. There is one thing I hate tho, and it has nothing to do with the app, it has more to do with some people using it. The main reason for this app is to create, share and enjoy photography and when someone follows me I don't follow them back for the mare reason of just getting more followers or more "likes" I do it because I like their work. And I would like to believe that's the same reason why they would follow me, because in some way they like my pictures. I'm not a professional photographer, I have never claimed to be one, and others have the right to not like my pictures, but don't follow me just so I'll follow you back and like your pictures and then un-follow me, that's just wrong!!!! Instagram is not about the amount of followers you have or the amount of people you follow, or the amount of likes you get. It's about sharing and appreciating other's work. And I know I'm contradicting myself, and it sounds like I'm bitter because someone "un-followed" me, trust me, its not the case. I just think its immature and weird. I don't know, that's how I see it. Anyways, if you don't have instagram, download that app, its awesome and its now on Android too. Happy instagramming ya'll!!!!

"If you want to succeed in your life, remember this phrase. The past does not equal The future. Because you failed yesterday; or all day today, or a moment ago, or for the last six months; the last 16 years, or the last fifty years of life doesn't mean anything...All that matters is what are you going to do, Right Now." "What you still need to know is this: before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we've learned as we've moved toward that dream. That's the point at which, as we say in the language of the desert, one 'dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon. Every search begins with beginner's luck. And every search ends with the victor's being severely tested." Paulo Coelho via #TDL
