Marilyn's 85th Birthday!

On June 1 of 1926, Norma Jeane Baker better known as Marilyn Monroe was born in Los Angeles, California. Her difficult childhood included, living at an orphanage for 2 years at an early age and moving through a series of foster homes, among other things. She was an actor, singer and a model. She was known for her roles in movies such as "Gentlemen prefer blondes", "How to marry a millionaire", "The seven year itch", among others. She had an scandalous life. She did things her way, without caring what people would say. She was on the cover of the first issue of Playboy magazine on December of 1953. She sadly passed away on August 5 of 1962 of an overdose. She was, still is a pop and cultural icon, and let's not forget an eminent American sex symbol.
